1.  FINDING YOUR PHOTOS.

There are two ways to find your photos.  

> Search.   For Sports Events and Dance Competitions - see below for more info.
> Browse a Category.  For Weddings, Commercial,  Fashion, Dance Schools and Recitals - see below for more info.

2.  THE SEARCH FUNCTION

This is for photos of individuals, in which we could identify you by a race/competitor number.   It is most commonly used for Sports Events and Dance Competitions.  You can use either the Quick Search or the Advanced Search option (see below)

> Quick Search.   This matches at least on keyword.   

• If you input Susan Brown into the quick search field, the search function will return any images that contain either Susan OR Brown in it's properties.

Use of the plus sign (+) and minus sign (-) respectively in front of the keywords, will make the search more specific.

• If you input Susan +Brown  into the search field, the search function will return any images that contain both keywords Susan AND Brown.

• If you input Susan -Brown into the search field, the search function will return any images that contain the keyword Susan, provided they DON'T also contain Brown.

• Note: There must not any spaces between the second keyword and the input operands (+), (-) keywords.

> Advanced Search   There are three options available.

• Match at least one keyword.  The system will return any images that contain either one of the input keywords.

• Match all keywords.  The system will only return images that contain all keywords.

• Match exact phrase.  The system will only return images that contain the exact keyword phrase.

If the name is long we may have to abbreviate it.  Try typing in a part of the name, ie just the first name, or just the surname.  There may also be non-searchable galleries within your event to cover areas like "Unidentified", "Prizegiving" etc.  You will need to browse through these to find your photos.

3.  BROWSING A CATEGORY 

> This process is most relevant for Commercial, Weddings, Dance Schools, Recitals and Fashion.  It may also be used for Sport or Dance Competitons in which you were part of a group, or in which we weren't able to identify you individually.  

Click on the relevant category from the drop-down menu on the left (Sport, Performing Arts etc), then on each successive level until you reach your event.  There may also be separate categories within the event to make it easier for you to browse.  Click on the relevant category, then scroll through to find your photos.

The number of pages of photos within the gallery is be indicated at the bottom right of your screen.  You can click on the page numbers to move from one page to the next.  You can also determine the number of photos you'd like to see per page in the Media Per Page box at bottom right.  This is normally set to view 6 photos.  

4.  PAYMENT    

>   Payments can be made online (using any major credit card or your Pay Pal account) or offline (by cheque or deposit into our bank account).  We accept all major credit cards.

>  Once you have selected your payment method, you will then be redirected to a secure site to process your payment.

>  For cheque payments.  Send the cheque together with your printed invoice to SmileClick, P.O.Box 7003, Maungatapu, Tauranga 3030. 

>  Bank account deposits.  Payment must be made into our account.  SmileClick Ltd.  06 0379 0135910 00.  Please use your name as the reference, and post (see above for address) or fax (64) +7 544-6412 a copy of your invoice to us with details of the deposit.  Alternatively, you can email mail@smileclick.co.nz the deposit details, quoting your invoice number.  

>  Please note, if making an offline payment your order will only be processed once payment is confirmed so this is not recommended for urgent orders.

>  To redeem a discount package.  You will need to select your pre-purchased package by clicking on the Payment Method ppp icon at top right, before you begin adding images to your shopping cart.   Please see Discount Packages below for full details.  

5.  DISCOUNT PACKAGES

>   These allow you to purchase packages of images at discounted rates.  PLEASE NOTE: You can only use your discount package for a one time purchase. You will only allow be able to checkout your order when the subscribed package contents and your current shopping cart contents are an exact match

>  To buy, click on the Discount Packages tab, then simply select your desired package type and click on the Continue button to complete the purchase using any of our normal payment methods.   Once the package has been purchased, click on the Payment Method ppp icon at top right and select the package as your preferred payment method.   You need to do this BEFORE you begin adding your selected images into your shopping cart.  

Once the selected images in your shopping cart matches your discount package, you will be able to proceed to check-out.    Your order confirmation will show a zero balance - click complete order to finalise the order.  You can view a copy of your order/invoice under the My Account tab.

6.   THE LIGHTBOX.

> The Lightbox is YOUR collection of images. You may add up to 30 images to your lightbox. If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to purchase and click on the "add to cart" button. 

7.  THE SHOPPING CART. 

> The shopping cart displays your order details.  If you wish to delete an image from your order before proceeding to checkout, simply hit the remove link on the right side.

8.  LOGINS.

> You will be able to utilise most functions of the site without registering.  However, it is necessary to login before finalising an order through the Check-Out.    The registration process is quick and simple and allows you to return to the site to make future purchases.  It also allows us to review your orders in order to provide you with a better service.  If you forget your password we have a prompt facility to assist you with this.

9. CHECK OUT.

> You will need to login to checkout your order. If you are new to the site please complete the registration form to create a username and password. This information is stored, so that you can return to the site to make future purchases and so that we can review your orders.

> We utilize PayPal for purchases made on this site.

> If you do not want to use our online ordering system, please phone us to place your order.  Off-line orders can be paid for by cheque or by direct deposit into our account.   Please see Payment above for more information.  Your order will be processed once the payment has been received.

10. MY ACCOUNT

> This page shows your order history. 

11. GUARANTEE

> If for any reason you are not satisfied with a print order, we will refund 100% of your order upon its return to us in the condition that it was received. Return shipping charges are your responsibility. You must contact us prior to any return and we will give you specific return instructions. IMPORTANT: Save all packing materials. Failure to do so can cause the shipper to deny your claim. 

12.  DELIVERY TIMES

>  Emailed images and prints (up to 10 inch x 15 inch) will be despatched within 3 - 5 days of receiving your order.   Larger format products (ie A2 Poster), can take between 7-10 days to be despatched.  If your order includes both, the photos will be sent within 3 days, and the large format products will be sent separately. 

14.  PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS

>  The images you see on screen are significantly lower resolution than the files that we actually print from. This is to speed up the down-load time and make it easier for you to browse.

Prints (up to 10"x 15")
>  Printed on a FujiFilm Frontier printer.  These work by exposing red, green and blue laser light onto FujiFilm Crystal Archive photographic paper at 300 DPI (dots per inch).  The fade resistance of the prints is rated at 150 years.  Prints have a matte finish and no border.

A2 Poster
>  Printed using an Epson inkjet printer on 230gsm Jetpro hi-resolution glossy proofing paper.  Posters are printed at 720dpi using Epson Chromatic Inks, providing size, colour and durability without the cost of a photo reproduction.

15.  PRINT SIZES

>  For some unknown reason the inch is still the normal measure used to describe photographic prints.  To assist those of you (us included) who find this confusing, metric conversions are provided below.
